Among contemporary glass artists, Vladimír Procházka belongs not only to one of the most original but also to one of the most difficult to categorize artists. Little is therefore referred to him, less about him is written. The reason for that lies in the fact that Vladimír Procházka only marginally creates glass sculptures of more intimate dimensions and therefore his work might rarely be seen at glass art exhibitions and galleries. Twice he took part at the international glass exhibitions in Kanazava, Japan (2001, 2004). At both of those exhibitions he succeeded with his sculptures as he received a Silver Award (2001) and a Gold Award (2004) for his molten glass sculptures. Antonín Langhamer 2004
